Meet

Libby

"I really enjoy my job and want to make learning to swim a fun and relaxing experience. It is so important to gain a child’s trust and to keep lessons fun and as stress free as possible."

I have years of experience teaching children and adults of all ages and abilities to swim as well as those with physical and mental disabilities and various special needs. One of the things that makes our lessons special is that we always adapt our teaching to fit each child’s learning style and individual needs. I believe that all children should learn to swim at a very early age and we want them to enjoy the process and remember their time with us fondly. I enjoy my job and want to make learning to swim a fun and relaxing experience. I think it’s important to gain a child’s trust and to keep lessons fun and as stress free as possible. Almost everyone finds that learning a new skill is easier if the stress level is low and the environment is relaxed and FUN! Children learn through play, practice and repetition. We want the children we teach to gain a life long love of the water while developing and strengthening their swimming and water safety skills.

Please feel free to email me with any other questions you may have.

Meet

Ben & Marshall

Ben and Marshall graduated from AC Flora High School in 2018 and are currently attending college. Both are really ready for the weather to warm up as they are excited to teach swim lessons again this year. The boys both began swimming at a very young age. They were both independent in the water right before the age of two and by age three they were swimming on the summer swim team at Hunting Creek! They grew up swimming any chance they could get, whether that be at the pool, the lake or the beach. They want all the children they teach to love the water and be as comfortable in it as they are!

Ben and Marshall completed the Lifeguarding course for the first time when they were 15 years old. They worked for two years as lifeguards at Ft Jackson at the waterpark and year round indoors at Knight Pool. They have been helping with Swim Camps since they were 13 years old and have been teaching private lessons since they were 15. They are wonderful with kids of all ages. Their fun personalities and use of play through pool toys helps kids relax and enjoy learning to swim. Ben and Marshall are available for private lessons or as a pair to teach siblings together at the same time for a 1:1 ratio.
