Private SWIM Lessons on Location

Service Description

SWIM Columbia will send an instructor to your home to teach your child to swim in a truly personalized and private format. We are currently offering a LIMITED number of these private lessons for children ages 2 and up. Lessons are held Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday (week of Memorial Day) beginning Tues, May 28th. Lessons the week of May 28th are being held Tues-Fri due to Memorial Day. All other weeks are Monday-Thursday. If you would like an instructor to come to your home before the week of May 28th please contact us by filling out the request to book form and include information such as your address, dates/time requesting and your ability to heat the pool. We want your child to have the best overall experience. If you do not have a heated pool please "Request to Book" weeks May 28th or later. To register please fill out a "Request to Book" form and we will confirm availability of your requested dates/times. Available times on the calendar are a starting point and may need to be adjusted slightly due to availability and drive time between lessons. Times will be confirmed upon booking. Pricing will depend on location and the number of private lessons scheduled per day but will START at $500 week/child for travel in the downtown area. You will receive an exact quote based on your location when you request a spot and give us your address. If you want to decrease your cost per child, you can host lessons by inviting neighbors or friends to sign up their child for private lessons in your pool which will save the instructor travel time and therefore lower your overall cost a little. There is also some availability for small groups. (Pricing will vary for small groups) While we think children do amazing in private lessons, there are times when group lessons are a great option. When requested we send two instructors to teach small groups. When putting together a group of students, you want children who are very close in age and ability, those who also can follow simple directions and are ready for a FUN group lesson. A child who is uncomfortable in the water or you expect may cry more than a few minutes, most likely needs private lessons instead. Small group lessons are for children ages 3 and up.
